Welcome, and thanks for visiting my website. I paint plein-air as well as in the studio, but always facing the subject. My favourite subjects are landscapes (seaside, countryside), portraits and figures (soon to be displayed on the website). I am an autodidact painter. I learn thanks to many books that have inspired me but also thanks to the advices from my fellow painters, and, of course and foremost, by practicing and working constantly on my skills especially drawing.

I like to explore new places in order to find subjects that inspires me. Then, I start with graphite drawing to find the most interesting composition, taking notes in my sketchbook and doing usually a study in watercolor to study the lights and shadows and all other important features that determine the outcome of the picture.
